Los Angeles World Airports has received 10 inquiries regarding a solicitation for expressions of interest for the possible management of LA/Ontario International (ONT).
The solicitation for the EOI for the airport was released Jan. 4. The responses have been from both domestic and international firms.
“This encouraging response is an indication that ONT is a key asset for the city of Los Angeles,” says LAWA Executive Director Gina Marie Lindsey. “Despite being affected by the economic slowdown, ONT remains an important airport in our system and the sheer number of inquiries demonstrates that others feel the same way.”
