1st Victoria’s Secret Travel Concept Store Arrives At JFK

Hudson Group has brought the first Victoria’s Secret travel concept store to Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK).

It offers merchandise geared toward travelers, including panties and PINK apparel, the company’s signature line; the store also sells passport holders, luggage tags, sunglasses, key rings and travel-size gifts, as well as makeup, fragrance and body care products from Victoria’s Secret.

“The elegant shopping mall at JFK IAT was an easy choice for us to open our first Victoria’s Secret,” says Joe DiDomizio, president and CEO of Hudson Group. “Terminal 4 and Hudson Group are both keenly aware of the elements that combine to ensure customer satisfaction. Value-priced, quality merchandise in profusion, along with prompt, courteous and expert service are the keys to success in our industry. Hudson trains each associate to deliver this level of service. We measure our success by the smiles of our customers, and our new Victoria’s Secret store is delivering plenty of those, along with a very strong first two weeks of sales.”

The 641 sq. ft. store, located pre-security, is the first duty-paid entry into the airport market. Two other Victoria’s Secret locations, both duty free, are in Brazil and Argentina.

Janice Holden, chief commercial officer of JFK IAT, notes: “Victoria’s Secret adds an exciting edge to our retail lineup – the super look and feel of the store is inviting and the well known merchandise never fails to appeal. We appreciate that Hudson Group chose Terminal 4 to showcase this legendary brand, and we are encouraged by the reaction of our passengers based on the store’s initial performance.”
