ACI World Names ATL World’s Busiest Airport, Again

The busiest airport in the world once again is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), according to the most recent World Airport Traffic Report by Airports Council International (ACI) World, the global trade association of airports.

ACI’s annual World Traffic Report named Atlanta the busiest last year as well, and even a slight fall in passengers (0.3 percent) since then didn’t affect the airport’s ability to retain its rank. With nearly 104 million passengers in 2017, Atlanta leads the pack by almost 10 million passengers.
