Airport Lounge Development Expands Team

Plano, TX-based Airport Lounge Development (ALD), a premier developer and operator of airport lounges around the world, announces that Chris Gwilliam has joined the company as vice president of business development and Jeffrey Denmon is coming on as director of operations, while Laura Banse has been named director of facility management.

“Chris, Jeffrey and Laura’s experience and proven expertise across the hospitality and airline industry further strengthen ALD’s leadership position in the industry,” says Nancy Knipp, ALD senior vice president. “In their positions, each will play an integral role in ALD’s continued growth and our focus on enhancing the airport experience for millions of travelers.”

Gwilliam brings decades of experience to ALD, most recently as vice president of strategy and projects at Snap Kitchen where he developed strategy for business development and improvement, and lead cross-functional project teams.

Denmon comes over from CRU Food & Wine Bar, where he was vice president of operations, helping the chain successfully open 19 new restaurants and wine bars. Banse joins ALD after spending most of her career at American Airlines. Her most recent role was senior manager of customer experience delivery where she helped lead the American Airlines Next Generation Airport automation and ticket counter design development and implementation.

ALD currently operates 18 global lounges, with planned expansions into new locations across the U.S. by the end of 2019.
