Areas has partnered with New Jersey-based Villa Restaurant Group to open Piattino at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), enabling travelers to enjoy the feeling of being in a neighborhood bistro while awaiting their next flight.
The 2,300 square-foot concept in EWR Terminal B features a menu that includes Herbed Milk Ricotta, Braised Veal Gorgonzola Risotto, Caesar Salad and the Classico Spaghetti & Meatballs. Piattino also has an Italian oven set to 800° for stone fired artisan pizzas, a full bar stocked with an extensive selection of wine, beer and cocktails, and coffee and dessert offerings.

Piattino is one of eight concepts Areas operates at the airport, including Panda Express, which opens next month.
