ARN Names John Clark Of IND 2011 Director of the Year, Small Airports Categor


Airport Revenue News (ARN) is pleased to announce the winner of its prestigious Director of the Year award in the small airports category. ARN defines small airports as less than 4 million total enplanements. For 2011 the winner is John D. Clark III, Executive Director and CEO for the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IND).
   
The ARN editorial staff selected from a pool of highly qualified candidates based on their excellence in the areas of leadership, innovation, revenue generation, marketing, customer service, community service and proactive efforts to advance the airport industry.  The ARN staff chose Clark as the candidate who excelled in all of the aforementioned areas.
 
“We are very pleased to have chosen John Clark for our next Director of the Year,” says Pauline Armbrust, president and CEO of ARN.  “He has proven leadership qualities and has been an advocate for the airport industry for several years, championing the industry’s causes as former chairman of ACI and currently as director of IND.”

Clark, III, executive director and CEO of the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA). “I sincerely thank ARN and our staff, whose dedication to the IAA strategy of finding innovative ways to enhance the quality of life and economic growth of our region was critical to this achievement.”
