ATL Opens Members-Only Park-Ride Reserve Lot

The new Park-Ride Reserve lot at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) opened Aug. 21.

“As passengers prepare to take to the skies this Labor Day holiday, we are excited to launch our new Park-Ride Reserve product,” says Aviation General Manager Ben DeCosta. “Hartsfield-Jackson now will offer guaranteed, affordable and fast service to the terminal from the new Park-Ride Reserve lot.”

The on-airport parking options is a members-only lot with 1,300 spaces; customers are guaranteed spaces for $12 a day and a shuttle bus will pick them up at their vehicles and take them directly to the terminal. Membership is suggested for those who park at the airport at least 12 times per year; the transponder costs $25, and membership is an upfront payment of $99.

In celebration of the new lot, customers are being given the chance to win a slew of prizes. The contest is open to Georgia residents aged 21 and older, who must stop by Tony Stewart’s No. 14 Old Spice/Office Depot Chevrolet Impala SS show car in the airport’s Atrium to fill out an entry form; hours are from 6 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 8 pm. Winners will be announced Sept. 4 at noon on the airport’s Web site and its Facebook fan page. Prizes include pairs of tickets to the NASCAR Pep Boys Auto 500 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, or free memberships to the Park-Ride Reserve lot for one year.

“Our safe, on-site parking facilities are staffed with professional courtesy officers and remain open 24 hours a day; however, the contest is available for only a limited time,” says Assistant General Manager for Commercial Development Arnaldo Ruiz. “Whether passengers are traveling for one day or one month, Hartsfield-Jackson provides several wallet-friendly choices, including its North and South economy parking lots and the Park-Ride and Park-Ride Reserve lots.”
