AVL Appoints Development and Communications VP

Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) has named Angelica Daus its vice president of air service development and corporate communications. Daus, who will begin her role on May 27, will be responsible for leading the airport’s development strategy as well as corporate communications efforts. Prior to joining AVL, Daus served as marketing supervisor at Santa Barbara Airport (SBA).

“I am deeply honored and grateful to step into the role of vice president of air service development and corporate communications at AVL,” said Daus. “It’s a privilege to serve a community where the airport is not just a gateway to adventure in the beautiful area, but a vital service to everyday life and economic vitality. I’m excited to join and support a strong and vibrant team with a record of success and a culture rooted in collaboration, positivity, and purpose.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Angi as our new vice president of air service development and corporate communications,” added Tina Kinsey, AVL’s chief administrative officer. “Angi brings strong experience and educational background and a forward-thinking, passionate approach to our industry—qualities that will be invaluable as we continue the important work ahead.”
