BNA To Offer Free Wi-Fi In Select Areas

Free Wi-Fi will soon be coming to select areas of Nashville International (BNA).

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has approved enhancements to the Wireless Communications Access Systems concession agreement with CCG/Boingo. The company has operated at the airport since 2004, and the new agreement adds a limited free Wi-Fi model and 14 stations that can be used to charge electronic devices throughout the terminal.

“We are excited to soon provide limited complimentary Wi-Fi access and charging stations to our customers and guests,” says Raul Regalado, president and CEO of the MNAA. “Adding these two frequently requested services will positively impact our delivery of the Nashville Airports Experience.”

Under the agreement, travelers and guests will be able to use 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi within the food courts, meeter/greeter waiting areas and select restaurants. Members of BNA’s Frequent Parker Program and valet parking customers will get 15 minutes of free access anywhere in the terminal.

For those needing more online time, paid access is still available from Boingo; costs are $7.95 per day or $9.95 for an unlimited monthly subscription.

Two of the 14 free charging stations are expected to be in use by the end of the year.
