BNA’s Arts At The Airport Program Receives Grants

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority’s Arts at the Airport program has received funding from the Tennessee Arts Commission totaling $15,200 for two of its exhibits at the airport.

Arts at the Airport, a non-profit organization that helps BNA showcase the region’s visual and performing arts, received $8,000 for its Flying Solo exhibition and $7,200 for its Tennessee Arts & Crafts Association Craft Artist Demonstrations.

The organization presents local, regional and national works at Nashville International (BNA) and John C. Tune (JWN) and also sponsors live music performances as well, according to airport spokeswoman Emily Richard.
