Boingo Wireless and Mastercard have reached an agreement that will allow Mastercard cardholders unlimited access to more than one million Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide.
“Wi-Fi is now an expectation for travelers, making access to Boingo hotspots the perfect membership benefit for Mastercard cardholders,” says Dawn Callahan, chief marketing officer for Boingo. “With Boingo’s blazing-fast Wi-Fi speeds, cardholders can seamlessly connect to mobile activities on the go, such as streaming their favorite TV show, working remotely or Periscoping their vacation travelogue.”
Access to the Wi-Fi service is available for select HSBC Mastercard cardholders in Argentina, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom at no additional cost. To get the Wi-Fi access eligible cardholders need to follow a sign-up process on mastercard.boingo.com.
Boingo says it will roll out the benefit to other issuers and cardholders in the future.
