Los Angeles International (LAX) was named 2014 Best Airport in North America by Business Traveler magazine.
The award, which was presented at the 2014 Best in Business Travel Awards dinner at Loews Hollywood Hotel, recognizes the airport’s “investment of billions of dollars and commitment to creating a transportation hub focused on connections, comfort, quality and value that improve the travel experience of road warriors,” according to an airport news release.
The awards cover a number of aspects of the travel industry, including best hotels, rental car companies, meeting destinations and loyalty programs. Singapore Changi (SIN) was named the Best Airport in the World.
