A popular local hotspot has arrived at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), with Airport Retail Management’s opening of Café© Intermezzo and Buckhead Books in Concourse B.
“Café© Intermezzo has earned a reputation for high-quality food and a sophisticated atmosphere, so we are delighted that this local favorite is joining our diverse concessions,” says Ben DeCosta, aviation general manager. “The combination with Buckhead Books adds another level of customer service, giving travelers a place to relax with a good book and an excellent cup of coffee or dessert.”
Café© Intermezzo opened in Atlanta in 1979, and it landed at the airport a few weeks ago. The dé©cor is the style of a European coffeehouse, with a hand-painted ceiling and a French-inspired patio. On the menu, patrons will find international coffees, desserts, meals, and a full beer, wine and liquor selection. Buckhead Books, also in the 5,000 sq. ft. store, sells books by local and national authors, as well as magazines, newspapers and other reading materials.
