CVG Picks Up Lyft Operations

Travelers at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG) can now turn to Lyft if they need a ride.

“Our customers want options,” says Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG. “Lyft joins other ground-transportation options including rental cars, taxi cabs, On-Demand Van/Shuttle and TANK.”

The ridesharing company is now operating as a transportation network company at the airport. People can use the service’s smartphone app to request a ride, and a car will pick them up at the far west end of the passenger pick-up area.

“People in Cincinnati have embraced Lyft as an affordable, convenient way to get around their city, and we’re excited to be the first ridesharing partner of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport,” says Bakari Brock, Lyft’s director of business development. “We’d like to thank Lisa Ransom, Kim Collins, Paul Wischer and all the CVG staff for welcoming modern options like Lyft to the airport.”
