Delaware North Debuts New Cross Grain Brewhouse At RIC

Delaware North has opened a new Cross Grain Brewhouse in Richmond International (RIC).

The 1,900-square-foot restaurant is located in Concourse A. The menu, which is drive by Executive Chef Kyle Midgett, includes corn-dusted oysters with house-pickled vegetables, crispy pork tacos with house-cured pork belly, and a “When Pigs Fly” flatbread with house-smoked pulled pork and house-made Pamunkey BBQ sauce.

“The Cross Grain Brewhouse concept has been very popular with travelers across the country, and we’re excited to bring it to Richmond,” says Steve Bass, regional vice president of Delaware North’s travel hospitality business. “We wanted to provide a place that had great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere. Guests will love the local choices for beers and cocktails, but the open-kitchen concept will really immerse them in the quality of our menu.”

There is also a par with rotating taps from local breweries. Cross Grain’s opening selections include Ardent Craft Ales, Strangeways Brewing, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Center of the Universe Brewing Company.

“Cross Grain is a welcome addition to the food scene at Richmond International Airport,” says John Mazza Jr., chairman of the Capital Region Airport Commission. “We love the emphasis on local craft beers and house-made menu offerings in Concourse A.”
