DEN Promotes Heck To CFO

Patrick Heck has been promoted to deputy manager of aviation for finance and administration at Denver International (DEN).

Heck, who has worked for the city and county of Denver’s department of aviation for four years, was previously the airport’s deputy manager of revenue development.

In his new role, he will serve as chief financial officer and will oversee the Finance and Administration Department.

“We are very excited to name Patrick Heck as our CFO,” says Kim Day, manager of aviation. “He emerged during the nationwide search as the best and most qualified person to take this airport into the future. He has demonstrated the leadership and skills needed to manage the complex and varied financial challenges our airport will face in the future.”

Before joining the airport in 2006, he had been with United Airlines in the flight operations division. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
