ECP Terminal Expansion Welcomed

The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) this week unveiled its brand-new terminal expansion, adding 7,000 square feet of new space and two redeveloped gates.

American Airlines will be operating at one gate and the other will be utilized to accommodate increased future demand. The $5.8 million expansion also adds close to 250 more seats, giving additional room for growth and addressing passenger travel demands.

“We have tried to anticipate the future demands of our airline partners, enabling the airport to be ready to accommodate more flights, different aircraft and destinations in the future,” said Parker McClellan Jr., ECP executive director. “This new terminal expansion provides the additional space needed to accommodate the demand of today and in the near future.”

As a modular building, the new addition allows the Panama City Beach airport the flexibility to move the structure in the future, if need be.
