Passengers at Newark Liberty International (EWR) who need a power boost can now find one throughout each concourse at the airport’s Terminals A, B and C.
The Power Poles, 50 8.5-foot-tall stanchions, are wired with four outlets for public use, and can be used at no cost.
The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey debuted the poles at John F. Kennedy International (JFK) in April 2006, and brought them to LaGuardia (LGA) earlier this year.
The Power Poles feature advertising by Samsung.
