Farmer Named FSM Director of Operations

The Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSM) this week named Tiffaney Farmer as the new director of operations, in charge of planning, organizing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Arkansas airport.

Farmer brings more than a decade of experience to her new position, including serving as airside operations manager at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). Farmer also spent several two years working under government contract on Forward Operating Bases in Afghanistan as an airfield operations officer with Dyncorp International.

“I am excited to begin the role of director of operations at the Fort Smith Regional Airport,” said Farmer in press release announcing her hiring. “I look forward to being part of the upcoming construction projects and growth I am sure the airport is going to experience over the next few years.”

Located on the Arkansas and Oklahoma border, FSM is a joint civil-military airport with American Airlines as its commercial carrier.
