Larry Krauter has been named airport director at Spokane International (GEG).
Krauter currently is interim airport director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority, which owns and operates Lehigh Valley International (ABE), Queen City (XLL) and Braden Airpark.
He is an Accredited Airport Executive; a past president and current member of the board of directors of the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania; commissioned member of the State Aviation Advisory Committee in Pennsylvania; professional member of the American Institute of Certified Planners; and an appointed member and chairman of the City Planning Commission for the city of Bethlehem, Pa.
“He was clearly the candidate who demonstrated tremendous vision, business acumen and passion for the job,” says David Clark, chairman of the Spokane Airport Board.
Krauter is slated to step into his new role April 1.
