Four organizations have joined together to submit a comment on the Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding DBEs.
Airports Council International-North America, the Airport Minority Advisory Council, the American Association of Airport Executives and the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials say they “appreciate the substantial efforts made by the Department of Transportation” and have united to comment on the fifth item in the proposal, “which addresses the reduction of burdens on firms seeking certification as disadvantaged enterprises … or airport disadvantaged business enterprises … in more than one state. We feel this issue is tremendously important and have committed to working together to promote reciprocity. Each of our organizations also has filed separate comments on other parts.”
