Michael Tovian has been named president and chief executive officer of Harmony Pharmacy & Health Center Inc.

Before joining Harmony, Tovian was managing director of Healthios Global Inc., a healthcare merchant banking firm. Prior to that, he was with Walgreen Drug Stores Inc. for 27 years, serving as vice president of managed care sales and contracting and vice president of store operations in the Puerto Rico and South Florida markets.
Tovian has a degree in pharmacy from the University of Iowa and has participated in Duke University and Wharton School of Business Executive and Pharmacy management programs.
