Puesto“We started working in the San Diego community almost two years ago,” Westlye said. “Our goal was to get out ahead of the marketplace and sign what we thought were the most dynamic representative brands for San Diego that would be appropriate to bring into the airport. We have quite a collection and we’re super happy to be awarded package 1.”

Construction is expected to begin later this year and concept openings will coincide with the first phase Terminal 1 opening slated for September 2025. Winners of the remaining four packages are expected to be announced in the coming months.
