HMSHost Opens Moe’s Southwest Grill At MEM

Moe’s Southwest Grill has landed at Memphis International (MEM).

The airport location is the company’s fourth, but the first in conjunction with HMSHost Corp. On the menu, guests will find all-natural chicken, grass-fed steak and organic tofu; each meal is prepared in front of the customer and is served with free chips and salsa.

“HMSHost is very pleased to add Moe’s to our portfolio of outstanding brands,” says Bill Casey, vice president of food and beverage concept portfolio for HMSHost. “This new Moe’s has been welcomed by both travelers and airport staff. I value the relationship we have with Moe’s Southwest Grill, and we look forward to a strong partnership that compliments the efforts of both of our companies in making the traveler’s day better.”

Paul Damico, presidents of Moe’s Southwest Grill, says, “To be able to get our level of ingredients with such speed of service is really what airports and travelers are looking for. We are excited about this opportunity to introduce the brand to the masses.”

The company has expanded its B4 YOU BOARD mobile app to Chicago O’Hare International (ORD), allowing travelers to use their smart phones to order and have their food delivered to them at their gate.

“B4 YOU BOARD was designed and launched first at [John F. Kennedy] International Airport, followed by Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and now ORD, to make great food available to travelers on-the-go as they navigate the airport,” says Joe Waller, HMSHost’s vice president of business development. “We believe it will be extremely popular at all of these airports as we approach this busy travel time of the year.”

Users of the app also can order their food in advance for pickup at select locations throughout the airport. Restaurants at ORD participating in the program include Tuscany Cafe and Chili’s Too! in Terminal 1; Blackhawks Restaurant & Bar in Terminal 2; and Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Chili’s Too! in Terminal 3. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings, as well as appetizers and desserts, are available.

“We look forward to providing a great experience for millions of passengers at Chicago’s airports during the busy holiday travel season,” says Rosemarie S. Andolino, commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation. “The exceptional service and convenience offered by HMSHost’s B4 YOU BOARD app is a great addition to the many amenities offered to travelers at O’Hare International Airport.”

The B4 YOU BOARD app is free and available from the Apple App Store and the Android Market. There is no charge for users to have their food delivered using the service.
