HMSHost opens restaurants at two airports

HMSHost Corp. has added concessions operations at two airports. The company announced the grand opening of Carlos & Mickey’s, a local legend, at El Paso International’s (ELP) Main Terminal. The restaurant features “something for everyone’s taste,” including Tampiquena Steak to Flaco’s Enchiladas and Sombrero Salad to Rosa’s Flautas. It also has full-service breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar.

The company also added Starbucks Coffee.
At Nashville International (BNA), HMSHost teamed with Nashville-based Transfare Inc. to open four restaurants for travelers at BNA. The four restaurants, located on the C Concourse Food Court, are Baja Burrito, Famous Famiglia Pizzeria, Quiznos Subs, and Burger King.
These are HMSHost’s first operations at BNA. The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority awarded the company an 11-year contract in August 2006. The remaining phases of the three-part concession development program will see more eateries added, including Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Tavern, Neely’s Barbeque, the Noshville Delicatessen, and Gibson’s Guitar Café©. The next phase is set to begin October 2007 with completion in January 2008.
