HMSHost Wins 10-Year Contract Extension At LAS

HMSHost Corp. has been given a 10-year contract extension to its existing agreement at McCarran International (LAS).

The company plans to enhance its current options, as well as open new ones, next year. The extension means HMSHost will provide restaurant and beverage options at LAS through 2028.

“HMSHost has been an outstanding partner in our restaurant concessions program, helping us to maintain our reputation as one of the world’s most popular airports,” says Randall H. Walker, director of the Clark
County Department of Aviation. “We look forward to continuing to offer our visitors exceptional dining experiences as they arrive or depart this great city.”

Some of the new restaurants coming to LAS’ new Terminal 3 and Terminal 1 next year include Pei Wei Asian Diner, Vegas ChopHouse, La Tapenade Mediterranean Cafe and Dewar’s Clubhouse; it will also open Starbucks.

“Las Vegas is one of the top tourist destinations in the world and we’re very pleased to have the opportunity to continue serving McCarran travelers,” says Anthony Alessi, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “We sincerely thank the aviation department for allowing us to enhance the airport’s already outstanding dining program.”

In addition to the aforementioned concepts, HMSHost will have several partners: Concessions management Services Inc. and Hospitality International LLC will operate Carl’s Jr.; SB Specialties Inc. will operate Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf; and H&M Partners LLC and The Dorsey Co. will operate Village Pub.
