InMotion Takes Home 2 Monster Retail Awards

InMotion Entertainment took home two honors from the Monster Retailer Awards ceremony at the 2011 CES show in Las Vegas, Nev.: Most Monstrous specialty retailer and best salesperson.

The awards cite retailers who drive the sale of Monster Cable products in their stores. Cables are used to connect audio/video components for home, car and professional use, along with computers and computer games.

“We are thrilled to be awarded in the company of global brands in two very distinguished categories,” says Eden Goldberg, InMotion’s vice president of marketing and business development. “InMotion Entertainment is proud to be exclusive launch partners with Monster and are thrilled for our 2011 plans together.”

The company has joined forces with Travelocity for a promotion.

Shoppers who spend at least $50 on merchandise in any InMotion store will receive a voucher for $50 off a minimum three-night hotel stay when they book at www.travelocity.com.

“InMotion is always searching for the best products and best promotions to offer our valued customers,” Goldberg says. “Travelocity’s targeted market easily overlaps with ours, making this partnership a natural fit and a double incentive for our clientele. Due to the success of the first promotion, we collectively decided to re-release this exclusive offer.”

Travel must be booked by April 15; travel must be completed by Dec. 31.

Additionally, InMotion will open a new location Feb. 6 at Newark Liberty International’s (EWR) Terminal B. Additional February openings include a new store at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International (SJC) and the re-opening of a renovated location at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International’s (CVG) Terminal B.
