Despite soaring passenger volumes and widespread construction among airports, passenger satisfaction is at an all-time high, according to a new study by researcher of consumer data, J.D. Power.
According to the J.D. Power 2018 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, improvements in every factor of the criteria contributed to the overall satisfaction score of 761 out of a possible 1,000 points among passengers. A 12-point jump from last year’s numbers, North American airports were judged on their check-in experience; food, beverage and retail; accessibility; terminal facilities; and baggage claim, with food, beverage and retail satisfaction improving by 17 points.
