The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners moved forward on the modernization of Los Angeles International (LAX) late last week when it awarded a $961.3 million contract to Turner PCL, a joint venture, to design and build its Midfield Satellite Concourse North Project.
Architecture firms Corgan Associates and Gensler will help design the project.
