‘Let’s Play’ Celebrates 100 Years Of Board Games At SFO

Board games have become a staple in American culture, and an exhibit at San Francisco International (SFO) celebrates 100 years of the entertainment.

In the past, many games were reflective of the values, popular culture, current events and literature of the era; and several early board games helped to teach moral lessons. “Let’s Play! 100 Years of Board Games” shows some of those early morality games such as The Mansion of Happiness and The Checkered Game of Life, to the classic Pa-chee-zee: The Game of India, the Nancy Drew Mystery Game and Candy Land, as well as an assortment of other games from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The free exhibit can be found post-security in Terminal 2, Departures Level. It will run Oct. 27 to May 19.
