MCO Approved to Expand Partnership with OUC

At last week’s board meeting for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) was approved to begin providing Orlando International Airport (MCO) services beyond basic electric and water, such as backup generation and onsite solar energy.

“Given the complexity of the utility requirements, our collaboration with OUC capitalizes on their unique ability to deliver and manage a portfolio of utility services,” said Phil Brown, GOAA CEO. “Partnering with OUC also benefits Orlando International Airport and the community by further energizing our short- and long-term sustainability goals.”
