Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has awarded two projects as part of its BNA Vision renovation and expansion plan. Concourse D and terminal wing expansion projects have been awarded to Hensel Phelps, and the terminal apron and taxilane expansion project has been awarded to Eutaw Construction Company.
Under the $203 million design-build contract, the new Concourse D will be 115,000 square feet in space and will feature six domestic aircraft gates, plus dining and retail options and a central utilities plant. The project will also add 80,000 square feet of space to the north and south ends of the terminal. This space will be occupied by the ticketing lobby and four baggage claim carousels. Anticipated completion date for this part of BNA Vision is 2020.
