OTG Offers TSA Workers Discounts During Shutdown

Concessionaire OTG says it is offering on-duty Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers 50 percent meal discounts at its U.S. airport locations for the duration of the federal government shutdown.

The discounts, which began Jan. 12, apply to all food and beverage purchases across all OTG-operated terminals. “The TSA plays an integral part in the travel experience. As our neighbors in the airport space, we wanted to pitch in and assist where we could during this difficult period,” says OTG CEO Rick Blatstein.

TSA employees are required to work but are not getting paid during the partial government shutdown, now in its fourth week

OTG currently has operations at 10 North American airports, including in terminals at Newark Liberty International, George Bush Intercontinental (Houston), LaGuardia Airport, Minneapolis-St. Paul International and Philadelphia International.
