OTG To Develop Dining At Delta’s Terminal At LGA

Delta Airlines has selected OTG Management to develop 13 new dining concepts for the main terminal facility at LaGuardia (LGA).

“As part of our aggressive plan to invest and improve our main terminal
at LaGuardia, Delta is fully committed to enhancing the experience for
our New York customers with superior amenities that include outstanding
food and beverage choices,” says Gail Grimmett, Delta’s senior vice
president -New York. “We’re confident that the unique concepts we’re
developing with OTG at LaGuardia will reinforce our efforts to become
New York’s preferred airline, offering our passengers the best customer
experience available in airport dining.”

Several of New York City’s top chefs, such as Riad Nasr, Lee Hanson, Michael Lomonaco, Dominick DeMarco, Jamison Blankenship, Jim Lahey and Jason Denton, and restaurateurs Chris Cannon and Garrett Oliver will create the new concepts, which will begin opening in the fall and be exclusive to Delta’s main terminal at LGA.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Delta to create a truly unique dining program at LaGuardia that will introduce not only great local chefs and concepts, but will also bring services and dining options to the terminal that have never been done before,” says Rick Blatstein, CEO of OTG Management.

The first phase of the redesign begins Aug. 21. In addition to the 13 food and beverage concepts and brands, there will be a gourmet food hall, coffee bars and a wine bar. The space is expected to be completed by next summer.

“OTG is committed to reinventing the airport dining experience and
establishing a new, higher standard for food and beverage that is
offered to travelers,” says Blatstein.

The new dining options replace those that have been in the terminal for more than 10 years. Each new restaurant will feature design, lighting and music created by New York-based design firm ICRAVE and custom music provider EL Media Group.
