Pino Gelato Promotes Maloof To Vice President

Ashley Maloof has been promoted from director of sales to vice president of business development of Pino Gelato, an Italian gelateria with multiple airport locations.

Maloof has been with the company for a little more than two years. Her new position will involve her playing a bigger role in contractual processes, pricing and proposals. She’ll be geared toward acquiring new business, finding opportunities for expansion and surpassing the financial performance goals of the company.

“In my role for Pino Gelato, I strive for exceptional, for myself and the brand,” says Maloof. “The future growth of Pino Gelato presents me with exciting opportunities to work with tremendous leaders in outstanding locations as I continue to build more partnerships. I was raised as a ‘foodie’ and sales person. This industry couldn’t be more ideal.”

Ramona Fantini, Pino Gelato’s owner and CEO, calls Maloof the “primary sales force” for the company.

“She has a clear understanding of the strategic sales initiatives and can easily adapt as business needs change or opportunities arise,” Fantini says.
