San Antonio International Completes Terminal A Renovation

San Antonio International (SAT) unveiled its newly updated Terminal A, providing the public with its first look at the $35.6 million renovation.

Work on the 30-year-old terminal started two years after the new Terminal B opened. Upgrades in Terminal A include new Terrazzo floors, updated food courts, a renovated ticket lobby and hold rooms and improvements to the Transportation Security Administration’s queuing space.

“With its updates, Terminal A now offers passengers a smooth transition as they navigate between terminals,” says Frank Miller, aviation director. “We hope that the improvements help create a positive airport experience for our passengers.”

The project was funded with user and tenant fees with no general fund revenues being used.
