SFO Passengers Can Jam To Summer Beats

Travelers going through San Francisco International (SFO) this summer will be treated to a live musical performance.

The series includes shows featuring acoustic jazz, R&B, Brazilian Samba and classical music; it runs through Aug. 28.

“An airport is usually an unlikely setting for listening to live music,” said Airport Director John L. Martin. “But it is a surprise and delight when our passengers discover the bands playing. Everyone slows down, smiles and starts tapping their feet to the music. It’s a wonderful summer treat – and a great way to give travelers a glimpse of what San Francisco has to offer.”

The bands will play in the main lobby of the International Terminal (pre-security), the United hub of Terminal 3 (post-security), and on the mezzanine bridge of Terminal 1 (pre-security). For a complete schedule, visit www.flysfo.com/web/page/orphan/youarehear/youarehear.html
