TAA Completes Solar Project At TUS

Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) has completed its $14.3 million solar project at Tucson International Airport (TUS), which TAA began in 2013. The project, which was funded by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) grants, installed 51 solar panels and 78 solar arrays.

The design engineering team for the project consisted of Monrad Engineering, Inc., DOWL HKM, Herzog Associates, Schneider Structural Engineers, Wheat Design Group, and Sturgeon Electric.
