SSP Holds Summer Recipe Contest

Along with its partners McCormick, Lamb Weston and Cavendish, SSP America sponsored a recipe contest featuring the creative use of sweet potato fries and spices from McCormick.

Recipes could be for a side dish, entrée or bar snack. The participants were members of SSP’s culinary team across the U.S. and Canada. Carla Gross, of San Diego International (SAN), won with her “Breakfast Build” recipe, beating out 50 other submissions. She attended a photo shoot and recipe development session at the McCormick test kitchen in Maryland, where she helped refine the recipe and build step-by-step prep instructions. The recipe will be finalized and circulated to SSP’s U.S. and North American branches.
