Stewart Tapped As Vice President For Airline Business Development At MWAA

Mike Stewart will succeed Mark Treadaway as vice president for airline business development for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

Stewart has occupied various positions within MWAA and the aviation industry, including manager of airport administration at Washington Dulles International (IAD), manager of airline affairs for MWAA, general manager of the Dulles Jet Center, director of corporate real estate and airport affairs for Independence Air, and management positions with US Airways and Piedmont Airlines.

“Mike Stewart has extensive knowledge of the aviation business, knowledge of our airports, and a strong record of success,” says Jerome L. Davis, executive vice president and chief revenue officer for MWAA. “Under his leadership, the airports authority will focus even more intensely on growing airline service for our customers at Reagan National and Dulles International.”
