Tastes on the Fly To Open Paris Cafe In TWA Hotel at JFK

Tastes on the Fly will open The Paris Café in the TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) next spring, in partnership with chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

The new Paris Café will be located on the footprint of the original Paris Café and Lisbon Lounge in the 1962 TWA terminal, which is being converted into an on-airport hotel and conference center. The restaurant will follow the original classic mid-century industrial design. With 200 seats and an open kitchen, it will serve hotel guests and JFK travelers from breakfast to late night.

“We are delighted to partner with Jean-Georges to bring the romance of airline travel back to JFK,” says Tastes on the Fly CEO, Michael Levine. “In addition to his world-wide culinary accolades, he still loves being in the kitchen creating delicious food for his guests. We are honored to be working with him on this exciting project.“

In addition to this latest venture, Vongerichten operates a constellation of 36 three- and four-star restaurants around the world, including Jean-Georges, JoJo’s and ABC Kitchen in Manhattan, Mercato in Shanghai and Simply Chicken in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
