Free Internet access is now available for travelers going through Fresno Yosemite International (FAT).
The airport had been using a paid-for-use wireless service from an outside contractor, but customers didn’t want to pay the fees. Because the airport has existing hardware and open source software, it was able to offer free connectivity with minimal costs for the bandwidth.
