Frederik “Freek” H.J. Vermeulen, who has most recently been director of business development at Amsterdam Schipol (AMS), has been named managing director of XpresSpa Europe, effective Jan. 1.
The company has announced it plans to begin expanding in Europe at a rapid pace.
Vermeulen has been in the airport industry for 12 years. At AMS, he was responsible for introducing commercial activities to the renowned AirportCity. He also is a member of the ACI-Europe Commercial Forum.
