Wendy’s Brings Fast Food To DTW

A new fast-food option has arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County (DTW), with the opening of Wendy’s on Aug. 25.

The 2,250 sq. ft. restaurant, located post-security in the McNamara Terminal near Gate B6, seats 47 and serves a full Wendy’s menu for breakfast and all other day parts. Early morning travelers can get breakfast from 5 to 10:30 a.m., and for anyone needing sustenance later in the day, it is open until 10 p.m.

“It has been a tremendous experience working with the Detroit Metropolitan Airport and their staff while constructing the restaurant,” says Mark Behm, president of Stanton and Associates Inc., the franchise which operates the DTW location. “Greg Hatcher, deputy director of concessions, and his team have been instrumental in making this restaurant opening a success. We look forward serving the airport, its employees and the flying public in this location.”

It is the first location at DTW for Wendy’s, bringing the total to 23 in U.S. airports.
