CAK President And CEO Rick McQueen Announces Plan To Retire At End Of 2018

Rick McQueen, president and CEO of Akron-Canton Airport (CAK), has announced he plans to retire at the end of 2018. McQueen’s 36-year career at CAK, the last 10 years of which he spent as CAK’s president and CEO, has been been marked by numerous accomplishments.

Among these are numerous terminal building upgrades and renovations; an extension of Runway 5-23; an improved entrance road; the addition of covered short-term parking; the replacement of CAK’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting facility; a new general aviation customs and border patrol facility; and the construction of Port Green Industrial Park.
