OAK Announces Upcoming Food and Beverage RFP

The Port of Oakland will issue a Request for Proposals for all food and beverage concession units at Oakland International Airport (OAK). Restaurant operators, concessionaires, food vendors and service providers are invited to meet with port staff and consultants to discuss this opportunity. Open house discussions and presentations will be held in OAK’s Terminal 1 Muir Woods conference room on Feb. 6 and 7.

The current program encompasses 16 locations across Terminals 1 and 2, accounting for more than 21,000 square feet. Of these 16 locations, six are bar-and-restaurant units, five are specialty coffee outlets, two are multi-concept or food court spaces, and two are quick-serve restaurants. For the 2016 calendar year gross receipts added up to $40.8 million, and $5.4 million was paid to the port.
