North America’s tallest sand dunes have blown into Denver International (DEN).
“Art of the Dunes” focuses on Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes, which are near the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of the San Luis Valley in the south-central part of the state.
The exhibit, a collaboration between DEN and Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, features artwork and photos of and inspired by the landscape elements of the Dunes: mountains, grasslands, sand and flowing streams.
The display is part of the airport’s temporary exhibition program and can be found pre-security on the walkway between the terminal and A gates through Jan. 10.
