To mark the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day this year, the Food & Shops at LaGuardia (LGA) is sponsoring an online essay contest: “Travels With Mom.”
Through May 5, travelers can enter a 150-word essay about their favorite travel memory with their mother. Entries may be submitted at www.ShopLaGuardia.com. Essays do not necessarily have to be about mom, but could be about a grandmother, aunt, sister or anyone who has played a “mom-like” role in the writer’s life.
