HOU Opens New Restaurant And Music Venue

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) celebrated the opening of a new sit-down eatery and music venue. Located in the airport’s central concourse, The Rustic is  a Texas-based restaurant and performance space franchise from hospitality group FreeRange Concepts being licensed and operated by HOU prime concessionaire LaTrelle’s Management Corporation. The nearly 4,000-square-foot restaurant will offer travelers Texas-inspired cuisine, including signature Rustic favorites like the Steak Laredo, Cedar Park Salmon, the Texas Hot Chicken & Cheese Sandwich and an exclusive Tex-Mex breakfast menu, alongside performances from both local and nationally known artists.

“The opening of The Rustic at Hobby Airport is the culmination of years of dedication, collaboration, and a shared vision of the James Family,” said LaTrelle’s Management vice president of corporate affairs Cindy James on the family-owned concessionaire’s long-standing relationship with HOU. “Working alongside the incredible team at FreeRange Concepts, we have brought this concept into the airport space, creating a destination where travelers can experience the heart of Texas hospitality. From our first locations at Hobby Airport back in 1985, this significant milestone reflects our family’s 40-year commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences, and we’re thrilled to welcome the traveling public.”
