Hudson Group Enters Resort Industry With Stores At Hard Rock

Hudson Group has opened six new stores at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, marking the airport retailer’s first foray into the hotel and resort sector.

The stores total 14,500 square feet of commercial space and offer travelers high-end luxury goods such as watches, timepieces and jewelry as well as travel essentials, electronics, wine, spirits and apparel.

“With these new exclusive properties in Las Vegas, we are forging new territory by bringing 30 years of travel retail experience to resorts for the first time,” says Joseph DiDomizio, president of Hudson Group and division CEO North America of Hudson parent company Dufry.

“These shops represent a new type of business for us, which best meets customer expectations and which we expect to further expand and develop going forward,” DiDomizio adds. “We could not be more proud to partner with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.”

The six concepts include two travel essentials shops named Chill and Hootenanny; Bezel, a watch and timepiece store; Day + Night apparel store; Shine jewelry store; and Dunkin’ Donuts.
